2010 Senior Staff Information
 
Senior Staff Positions
 
The following positions are open to those 18 years or older. These positions are paid positions. The senior staff commitment is for 8 weeks: 1 week of staff training and 7 weeks of service. They will serve in a specific position but must be flexible to fill in other positions when needed.
 
 
Summer Program Director 
The program director works with the Executive Director in planning, implementing, and coordinating camp programs, provides spiritual leadership within the daily camp program, leads individual discipleship meetings with counseling staff, and supervises & coordinates all of the summer staff. Minimum age of 20.

Male and Female Head Counselors
Oversees the program staff in their positions. Handles daily camper issues, announcements, etc... Helps and encourages each staff, supports them spiritually and plans discipleship times with each one. Also works side by side with the Executive Director and Program Director to plan camp activities. Minimum age of 19.
 
Male and Female YMC Coordinators
Oversees the YMCs. Handles daily YMC issues, announcements, etc. Helps and encourages the YMCs, supports them spiritually and plans discipleship time with each one. Also works side by side with the Executive Director and Program Director to plan activities. Minimum age of 19.
 
Senior Counselor
Responsible for day and night supervision of a group of campers assigned in your cabin. Provide the spiritual leadership to the campers and oversee/teach/ disciple a Junior Counselor or YMC assigned to your cabin. Counselors also teach a skills class. Minimum age of 18.
 
Recreation Coordinator 
Oversees the running of the daily schedule, plans and runs games and activities. Responsible for skills class set up and cabin clean up. Maintains recreation equipment and makes sure all program supplies are stocked.
 
Horse Camp Coordinator
Coordinates and supervises the Horse Program. Works closely with the wranglers and couseling staff. Must have experience with horses and programming. Program, supervise and implement the horsemanship program, instructing, supervising trail rides, overseeing safety at the horse area, helping to physically maintain the horse area and health of the horses.

Wranglers
 Assists the Horse Camp Coordinator in accomplishing his/her responsibilities.
 
Adventure Program Coordinator
 Coordinates and supervises the adventure program. Will enforce safety standards, maintain equipment, and lead adventure program activities.
 
Adventure Program Assistants
 Assists the Adventure Program Coordinator in accomplishing his/her responsibilities.
 
Maintenance/Housekeeping Coordinator
 Works closely with the Maintenance Director to plan daily work projects. Oversees and works closely with maintenance and housekeeping staff. Helps and encourages staff in their spiritual walk. Provides leadership in Bible study as needed. Minimum age 18.
 
Maintenance Staff
 Will help maintain the buildings, grounds, machinery, etc. Will work to maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of the camp. Will assist housekeeping as needed.
 
Housekeeping Staff
 Performs daily cleaning, stock supplies, do laundry, other cleaning projects, checks all areas periodically during the day, oversees other staff who are assigned to help.
 
Head Cook
 Will work closely with the Food Service Manager and will assist in the preparation of meals including main dishes and baking, assist with keeping the kitchen clean, be in charge when assigned, and be available to meet the needs of the campers and staff. This position requires someone at least 18 years old and preferably someone with past food service experience.
 
Assistant Cook
 Will work closely with the Head Cook and will assist in the preparation of meals, including main dishes and baking, assist with keeping the kitchen clean, be in charge when assigned, and be available to meet the needs of the campers and staff.
 
Kitchen Assistant
Will work closely with the Head and Assistant Cook to prepare the dining hall for meals, serving of the meals and the clean up after each meal including putting food away, doing dishes, and removal of trash.
 
Summer Office Manager
Oversees summer office operations under the direction of the Office Manager. Assists the Summer Program Director with office needs. Helps with registration, summer camp paperwork, coordinates prayer warriors, summer staff directory, camper mail and other projects as assigned.
 
Summer Store Manager
 Oversees the operation of the camp store and canteen under the direction of the Office Manager, including stocking, staffing, appearance, and canteen cards. Also helps in other positions as assigned.
 
Chapel Coordinator
 Coordinates daily chapels, including music and program, under the supervision of the Summer Program Director. Coordinates volunteers for chapel. Prepares music for powerpoint screens. Has experience and ability to lead chapel with spiritual maturity.
 
Photographer and Videographer
 Takes weekly pictures of cabins and camper activities. Uploads pictures to CBC website. Orders cabin photos for campers. Creates weekly slideshows and CDs. Takes photos for staff directory. Helps create promotional material.
