This summer, we will have 20-25 high school and college-aged students make CBC their home. This means that for two and a half months they will spend their summer away from friends and families. Instead of choosing to flip burgers in an air-conditioned fast-food chain (where they would be making more money), they chose to serve in camping ministry.

 

    From cleaning dirty toilets and taking out trash, to mowing grass and having late night campers’ conversations, summer staff team members are the heart of our camp operation. Without them, there would be no ministries for the hundreds of campers that come to Escape, Encounter, and Engage at CBC. Staff members invest into our campers in very meaningful ways often leaving them physically and emotionally exhausted. Because of this, we want to invite you to join us in supporting our staff through prayer, encouragement, and gifts!

 

    The Adopt-A-Staff Program is designed to encourage and fill up our staff spiritually, physically, and mentally. Through this, we not only better equip our staff, but we also provide individuals, families, and groups the opportunity to give back and be a part of what God is doing at Camp.

 

By adopting a summer staff member, you commit to:

-Pray for this person by name daily

-Send notes and cards of encouragement

-Send an occasional care package (Snacks, money, gifts, etc.)

 

    It is our goal for all summer staff team members to feel loved, supported, and encouraged so they may continue to show our campers the same level of love and support. We are very excited about this program and pray that many of you will join us to make this the best summer yet by helping to grow and strengthen our staff!
