Giving Hearts Day 2026 will take place on February 12th.

 What Is Giving Hearts Day? Giving Hearts Day is a 24-hour giving event for nearly 570 charities across North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. Giving Hearts Day encourages the public to find a charity to love, and the excitement of this annual event helps charities elevate awareness and cultivate donor relationships.

What is Early Giving? Giving Hearts Day occurs every year on the second Thursday of February. However, donors don’t have to wait until that day to make their gift! Early giving is open from January 12 through Giving Hearts Day, February 12. This means donors can make a gift to your organization any time in that window through and it will count toward your Giving Hearts Day total.  

Mark your calendar for February 12th! Funds raised during this event will go toward departmental wish lists!  Each departments wish list is listed below. The funding goal this year is $25,000.

While the day itself is held over a 24-hour period, to make its effects last even longer, charities that participate work year-round through Giving Hearts Day coaching and training. The day provides a space for organizations to not only share their stories but also connect with new and existing donors.
